We understand how important your yacht is to you. Not only is it a long-cherished dream of freedom and relaxation, but also a precious possession. That is why we will look after your yacht with great care. On our shipyard of 32.000 m2 there is plenty of room for maintenance, repairs and storage of your yacht.

Outside the sailing season, over 700 yachts find shelter in our winter storage. Using a portal crane, we hoist yachts of up to 50 tons out of the water. If you have a heavier ship, then our slipway is suitable, which can handle up to 300 tons. The yachts are brought to their reserved place using modern hydraulic boat trucks. The dismantling of the masts of sailing yachts is done using a special lifting installation.

We have several halls. A few are heated and low-dust. In the special maintenance halls you can perform maintenance on your yacht to your heart’s content. Maintenance which you can obviously also leave to the experts of Nicolaas Witsen.

Do you wish to work on your yacht yourself during the summer months? From April until October you can make use of our short summer storage.

For ship supplies, dinghies, RIBs, SUP boards, outboard engines and engine parts please visit the water sports shop Bootschappen Watersport. The Netherlands’ largest online water sports shop also has a physical shop on the shipyard of Nautical Centre Nicolaas Witsen.

Buying a yacht is not something you do every day. Our yacht brokerage can help you with the purchase, sale or brokerage of your yacht. Many of the ships lie in our halls in Alkmaar.
